Tim Ellis
President
Tim has been a York native for over 70 years. He is a third-generation owner of Ellis Insurance Agency. Tim is actively involved in the local community, he has served on the boards of Old York Historical Society, York Initiatives Committee, Barn Gallery Associates, Ogunquit Museum of American Art, Warner House Museum and the Gundalow Company. He has a son, a daughter, and seven grandchildren. He loves cooking, art collecting and gardening.
Robin McKenna
Vice President/ Treasurer
Robin is in charge of operations and accounting at Ellis. She is a native of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She graduated from New England College with a degree in Accounting. Robin has been working at Ellis for 30 years. She resides with her husband, daughter, and two golden retrievers. She enjoys reading, dancing, playing cards, and golfing.
Karen Warburton
Personal Insurance Service Agent
Karen has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years. She is a former member of the International Association of Insurance Professionals. She resides in New Hampshire with her husband. They have five children and five grandchildren. She is a founding member of a local non-profit in her hometown where she serves as secretary. Karen enjoys walking, going on day trips, and spending the day at the lake.
Terrie L. Killman
Personal Insurance Service Agent
Terrie has been in the insurance industry for over 30 years. She is an Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) and has her Associates in Personal Insurance (API). She resides in Berwick, Maine with her husband. They have three sons and two grandchildren. Terrie enjoys making cards, relaxing on the beach in warm weather, and spending time with family and friends.
Jonel Thames Leake
Commercial Insurance Service Agent
Jonel is a student of the industry as she has obtained her Chartered Property and Casualty (CPCU), Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI), Associate in Surplus Lines Insurance (ASLI), Certified Professional Insurance Woman (CPIW) and Diversified Advanced Education (DAE) designations. She is an active member of the International Association of Insurance Professionals and is currently serving on the International Board of Directors as a Regional Vice President. She resides in Kittery Point with her husband and is the mother of one son. In her free time, you can find Jonel walking, tandem bike riding, golfing, or relaxing with her cat.
Roxane Day
Receptionist/ Commercial Lines Assistant
Roxane is the person who answers the phone and directs your calls. She also works as an Assistant in the Commercial Lines Department. Having lived in York for most of her life, she has an affinity for the seacoast and all that it has to offer. Roxane has a background in business and has worn many hats in different office environments. She has one son, who lives in Rollinsford, NH with his wife. Roxane enjoys reading, walking, and a good movie and is a self-proclaimed foodie.
Emily McKenna
Digital Marketing Manager
Emily is a recent Endicott College graduate, where she double majored in Accounting and Marketing. Emily works for Ellis when needed and in her free time she enjoys learning how to play golf, cheerleading, and creating art.
